Watching Floyd, 2013

In collaboration with Communities United for Police Reform and the Public Science Project, I created an activist blog cum critical ethnography that reflexively engaged with my experiences as a courtroom spectator during a ten-week class action lawsuit against the New York Police Department for the unconstitutionality of their racist ‘stop & frisk’ practices. I was asked to do the project as “an activist” and as “a critical psychologist” and, afterwards, used my experiences to theorise the role of time-travelling in radical archiving.
